I’m Bookin’ It! Are you?

As you may recall, one of my goals for the new year was to read more.  I hope to read at least two books per month. Some will be fiction, some non-fiction.  Simple Mom and FishMama are each hosting a “Book Club” of sorts.  With the Simple Living Book Club, there is a reading list.  With the Booking It Club, the plan is simply to read.

My plan of action is as follows:

As for January, I have already finished The Last Song and am currently reading The Blind Side .

Are you joining a book club in twenty-ten?  Have any book suggestions for me?

    >Good luck with your reading goals and thanks for stopping by. I'm planning to join the Simple Mom book club too. I just need to get a copy of the book.

Getting my daughter to stay still for reading time isn't always easy. The biggest help has been having before bed reading time. This helps to calm her down and get her ready for bed. Plus since it's part of the routine now she's use to it.

    >I am going to have to put The Blind Side on my list of BOOK IT 2010 list also. I want to read it before I watch the movie.

Also, I have a new post up about homemade laundry soap with the recipe. You commented about not having the items in your area, but I found a site with simple ingredients that are in all stores. I just wanted to let you know =) Blessings!

[...] Well, I can say that I have kept at least once resolution through the month of January.  My goal was to read two books per month or twenty-four total for the year.  I am proud to say that I have already started on book #3 for the month.  I finished both books that Santa brought me for Christmas and started on the one for the Book Club.
