>Vicks Humidifier Review

>

When I was contacted to try out the new Vicks Pediatric GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier , I couldn’t have been happier.  Bryson was fighting a cold at the time and the doctor had recommended we buy a humidifier.  Our pediatrician recommended the humidifier not only for Bryson’s cold, but also for his dry skin.  So, as you can see, this opportunity came at just the right time for our family.

Vicks Pediatric GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier is the first of its kind.  It has a UV light chamber that kills 99.9% of mold, bacteria, and fungi which results in fresher, more pure moisture.  The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends using a cool mist humidifier throughout the winter months.  Cool mist humidifiers help relieve congestion and coughs for children and help keep respiratory systems moist and healthy so that they are better able to fight off infections.

Although this humidifier is labeled pediatric, it also a great help for moms and dads.  It can improve your skin, remove static electricity from the air, and helps relieve dry eyes, dry nose, chapped lips, and flakey skin.

V3900_ProductWe have used this humidifier for the past week and I can honestly say that it has made a difference. Bryson’s cold had begun to let up when we started using the humidifier and is now completely gone.  His back is almost completely clear with no signs of returning dry skin or eczema.  You do have refill the tank every 24 hours, but it is a simple process and only takes a couple minutes.  It is very quiet even while on the highest setting, but at night, you can turn it down to the sleep setting and you can barely hear it at all.

Vicks Pediatric GermFree Cool Mist Humidifiers work with Vicks VapoPads.  We have only tried the Vicks Menthol, but I plan to buy a pack of the Soothing Sleepy Time VapoPads.  As you can imagine the menthol smells like Vicks VapoRub and will definitely help open you up if you have a stuffy nose or congestion.

Overall, I give this product five out of five stars (six if I could!) and I only wish we had it sooner.  We have been 100% happy with it and I definitely think it is worth every cent!

Buy it!  The suggested retail price is $69.99 and you can pick this wonderful humidifer up at Babies ‘R Us, Rite Aid, Meijer, and other major drug chains.

Stay tuned!  I have another review of a Vicks product and that one will include a giveaway!
